The LMSAAUG Semi-Automatic Auger Fillers are an economic quantitative filling solution for dry powders and micro granules. It contains an auger screw which is operated by a servo motor. The motor is controlled by a servo drive and a programmable logic controller (PLC). A touchscreen-based Human Machine Interface (HMI) makes the operation process easy. The product is measured volumetrically by precisely controlling the rotation of the screw and thus controlling the filling volume. The product hopper has a powder level sensor and it helps the automatic operation of the connected screw elevator for filing more powder inside the hopper when the powder level inside the hopper goes beyond a predefined threshold level. Screw augers are generally used for filling non-free-flowing powders like baking flours and other fine powders but can also be used for measuring and filling free-flowing powders like sugar and salt with an additional attachment introducing additional friction to reduce or stop the free-flowing property of such powders. It comes with two customized sizes of auger screws to cover a wider filling range and versatile, semi-automatic and rugged product filling equipment.
